The Chamber Orchestra, made up of the leasing musicians of the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra of Ostrava, has been performing since 1990. The typical features of this ensemblecan be classified not only as great musicality, but also a precision and perfect tonal culture. These facts can be demonstrated on numerous successful concerts and recordings both in Czech Republic and abroad.
The concert performances of the Orchestra include its participiation in International Music Festival such as The International Autumn Festival of Brno, The Spring Feasts of Music in Prague, The Janáček May of Ostrava, The Martinu Festival of Basilea. They also have performed in Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Denmark Switzerland, Spain and South Korea where, on its summer tour ´98 was first introduced as The Camerata Janáček.
The repertoire of the Orchestra extends itself from Baroque till the works of contemporary authors, with a great variety of styles. The reviews both in The Czech Republic and abroad prove definitely the high qualities of the ensemble and antile it to rank among the Czech most renowned chamber orchestras.
The violinist Pavel Doleľal belongs to the younger generation of Czech violin music interpreters. Born in 1965 in Ostrava, he started his musical education at very early age. He studied at The Conservatory of Ostrava and later at The Music Academy Of Prague. He successfully took part in a number of national and international music contests. (e.g. double first prize winner of The International Beethoven Violin Competition in Hradec nad Moravicí).
Since 1989 he has been a member and since 1998 The Concertmaster of The Janáček Phliharmonic Orchestra of Ostrava. As a solist or as a member of Chamber ensembles he has traveled around the world performing in Europe, Asia (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan) and U.S.A. Since 1998 Pavel Doleľal has been working as the solist and the artistic leader of The Camerata Janáček.
